        They are ER is superior to anything I’ve ever run onto. They’re operating rooms staff was caring and very precise in their abilities. Overall it is hands-down a better medical facility than anything in the area.

        I'm from Phoenix where we have huge hospitals. Honestly, I'm so impressed with the types and quality of services at EIRMC, in a city the size of Idaho Falls. I've been to the ER and my son has had two surgeries there. Always awesome service and just very caring people. Plus, they saved my friend's life when he had a heart attack. If EIRMC's ER department and Cath Lab hadn't gotten a stent in him within minutes, he'd be dead.

        If you ever require any seriou...

        If you ever require any serious medical attention, you are far better off traveling to SLC than rolling the dice on receiving any care at this facility. It really reminds me of what a small town we live in. My wife has been very ill and we've wasted a lot of precious time going to this hospital until we finally realized how poorly equipped they are to handle anything serious or life threatening. They're resources are limited. They're medical staff is just not exposed to a wide variety of conditions like a larger city would see and they make every effect to conceal this fact from you as a patient. They cannot admit when they are in over their head. If you are facing anything life threatening or serious at all, this is not the place you should go.
