Do not make an appointment! There not many days that I don't think about how Margaret Huggins has changed my life. About a year ago I received an ablation after having trouble for the fist time in my life. After receiving this procedure I was sent home in severe pain and told to call if I had problems. When I had problems I called and was told I would need to come in. I live a good distance from IF. I didn't have any time to take off work after using all my sick time to get the ablation. This information did not matter and I was left to deal with my problems on my own. After 3 months of pain and problems I made an appointment with Margaret Huggins. I was given an exam, a pill that she said probably wouldn't help that I might just need time, and told to return for another appointment. Again I informed D. Huggins of the difficulty in making apt after apt which made no difference. I went home to deal with my problems on my own. After tying every natural remedy under the sun and a year of giving my body time I made another apt. I thought that maybe after a year of problems she would have to acknowledge that I had a problem and help me. I requested when making the appointment that I get an appointment for an ultrasound and was assured one would be available in house or not. I waited for over an hour when a PA finally arrived and after looking at my file and asking me questions let me know that she could do blood work and I would need to have more tests done and would also have to come back for an ultrasound that was now not unavailable. I was again given a pill that "might" help. Yesterday I received a call to let me know that all my blood work looked great and that I would need to get those other appointments scheduled. Tests that I have already had at the beginning of my problem! I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM! Since my procedure I wear a feminine product of some type everyday (before the procedure I got 2 week of freedom), my marriage is failing (no sex does that), I have gained weight (on my period 24/7), frequent yeast infection. Margaret Huggins has effected my life which now I am thinking may be permanent. I am not sure why they won't help me. Maybe they don't know how and just don't want to say so. Maybe they just need more money before they help patients? It looks like pregnant women give her good reviews it may be that nice paycheck in the end. If that is what it takes I would have gladly given more in the beginning

I was reffered to Dr. Huggins by several of my coworkers in the medical field. I was 13 weeks pregnant when I finally got an apointment in her office. At first i thought her staff was very nice untill one of the PA's tryed to strongarm me into getting a flu shot. I know patients rights and know i have the right to refuse! I asked for an appointment with her every time and she was always to busy. I didn't get to meet her untill i was 32 weeks pregnant with my first child. When i went for that appointment i had to wait for 2 hours to see her! I had several questions of which she seemed to busy to really answer. When i left that appointment i was more confused and upset than ever. I met her again when they induced me due to a medical condition they would never have caught had i not asked for an ultrasound. She came in when i was dialated to a 2 to break my water, i was very frightend and asked her to wait to which her reply was that she was not going to deliver this baby at midnight. She upped my pit and i didnt see her again untill i was pushing. The nurse called her and she walked in 2 hours later looked at me and said, it's going to be a while i'll be back. She left and only returned when the nurse had to hunt her down to help deliver! I never saw her again. I am so dissapointed that she seemed more concerned about herself and had it not been for my nurse my delivery would have been very scary. Will not ever go back!!!!

Dr. Huggins office overbooks so expect to wait at least 1-2 hours before even being called back to a room. Then you are rushed through so fast you don't get a chance to ask any questions, let alone get answers to the concerns you have. They do not follow through on the care they say they are going to provide, nor do they communicate effectively throughout their office. If you have a complication and need assistance the receptionist will Not transfer you to a nurse, nor actively arrange a follow up appt. you will have to wait for the next available appt. that could be 2-4 weeks out. That is if the receptionist returns your call. I am appauled by the neglect my daughter has recieved from this doctor and her office. Years ago my daughter loved Dr. Huggins and referred a friend. The friend was left in a room for over an hour undressed waiting for her pap smear, they had forgotten her. I want to reiterate they do not stick to the care plan they say they are going to provide during pregnacy, nor do they provide you or communicate within the office effectively.
