Luis and his crew moved my two bedroom apartment from the first floor to the third floor in 4hrs, amazing experience.

Buyer Beware! You do get the service and experience that you pay for. We hired Ameritex to move our small business just a few blocks down the road.

Aside from the minor dings and scratches that are expected to occur, there were some bigger bumps and scrapes to the furniture that were not there before. Additionally, the movers were at fault for busting a toner cartridge and allowing it to leak within the printer housing and all the way down the building hallways and elevator. After receiving a notice from the building management indicating the damage, we reached out to Ameritex to file a claim. They promptly admitted to having knowledge of the damage and their fault in the process, however denied the claim to it's entirety, leaving us to pay the bill.

If you are looking for a cheap easy route, just save yourself the time and throw everything out your window yourself.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They ruined some of my prize keepsakes, my couch, my bookcase AND the walls in my new apartment. Giving me a refund of only $105. They were unprofessional and did a horrible job.

I have moved a couple of times and this was by far the best move I have ever had. They showed up on



time, worked fast and got everything moved without damaging anything. My move was completed faster than I



could have imagined.

Stay away, far away.



This "moving company" has a deal with The Lofts at the Ballpark, in that the lofts will pay the first $250 towards your move so I figured they must be reputable. Big mistake. They charge by the hour and took 9 hours to move me into a 1 bedroom loft. OMG, $850 to move into my 940sq ft loft? They guys moved so slow it was painful to watch.



My real beef is they completely snapped off 2 of the legs on my desk and are dragging their feet on the claim. It's been a 1 1/2 months since I submitted my claim but when I call to check on the progress all they do is say by Texas Law they have 90 days to respond. I'm not interested in what Texas Law allows, I would like some customer service. Seriously, how many claims must they have to process if it takes this long.



Do yourself a huge favor and look elsewhere.

Excellent group of people to work with. Punctual, efficient and professional. I've used them 3 times in the past 5 years and would strongly recommend them.

Ameritex moved my grandmother into The Treemont and I have never been so catered to. They packed everything, took it all into her new place and unpacked/organized her apartment. They even hung up pictures and put her dishes away in the kitchen for me, all of this and it was under $800.00, wow! Will use them again for my own move!

My apartments gave me coupons to several companies, Ameritex was by far the most helpful and prices were not the cheapest but they gave me free wrap for my furniture and free boxes....plus there was ZERO damages and my two bedroom apartment only took them three hours! You definitely get what you pay for.

These guys are great from A to Z. Ismael and his crew were prompt and I've never seen two people move so quick.

I have always used Ameritex movers over the past 7 years any time I have moved. However, 2 moves ago they were very late and offered me a gift card for $50 to apologize for their mistake. I call them to schedule my next move and use the gift card but I am informed that I cannot use it due to the fact that a discount is already applied to my move for being a frequent customer. After speaking with the manager and requesting that he explain to me how I am ever supposed to use this gift card if I continue to be a repeat customer. I was informed that I would have to use the flat rate and then apply the gift card. So what I thought was a nice gesture in apolgozing for their mistake was a piece of plastic that I could never use. I am now taking my business elsewhere. I will also let you know that I had my friend call to see what their rates were for non repeat customers and they were not dramatically different as they lead me to believe.
