Herminie Diner

We started going to Herminie Diner for breakfast on Saturday mornings about 6 months ago and are now regulars. Simple fresh delicious breakfasts, excellent coffee, great atmosphere and service. I hope nobody else reads this and decides to try it because I don't want to have to wait for a table!

I used to go to the palace before it closed and the herminie diner tried to pick up where they left off. The buiseness started great. The biggest attraction in my opinion was there pancake's. They were the largest pancakes I had ever seen, and they were a great price. In the last 6 months the prices on them have doubled and the size of the pancakes has been cut in half. Before the downsize the pancakes had to be served on a 16" pizza pan. Now they can fit on a plate or a 12" pizza pan. Also they are not thick anymore. This has caused me someone who has gone for 10 years for the pancakes to stop going and just make them at home. They have great food and it taste great but the pancakes (in my opinion) are an indication that profits are overtaking the great deals on amazing food that made me recommend the palace for the last 12 years. This is a good place to eat but they have lost a great customer that used to come in every Sunday morning.
