Overall

As an educator for almost 20 years and a kindergarten teacher for the last 3 years, I was very impressed when my son attended Creative Beginnings. I wish we had found it earlier! The teachers did an excellent job preparing my son for kindergarten and had a great balance of playing and learning. Most importantly, the entire staff truly cared for my child and showed the love of Christ to him.

Overall

I am a mother of 3 boys. Due to cost, I never planned to put any of my children in preschool. It just seemed too expensive. My oldest son was fine without preschool and I was able to teach him a lot at home until he went to kindergarten. My middle son, however, was unwilling to learn from me. He has a lot of energy and I felt a preschool would be really good for him. So when we moved to Hendersonville I began researching preschools and narrowed it down to 3 different preschools where I was willing to send my son. Two out of the three schools would not take my son because he was not potty trained and was 3 years old. Discouraged, I called Fran at Creative Beginnings and asked if they had any openings in their 3-year old classroom. When she said they did, I anxiously asked if they accept children who are not potty trained. She said that they sure did. I was surprised and excited. I went straight to the church to pick up a registration packet. Upon meeting my son's teachers at the orientation, I was sure that we had ended up in the right school for us. His teachers are so kind, personable, and they LOVE the kids. They really genuinely love my son. The activities are wonderful. Every month I have a calendar of what they'll be doing each day all the way down to which day they'll be finger painting and working with scissors. My son comes home with projects and new songs all the time. He has blossomed so much this year. The teachers are encouraging and even helped him to potty train with lots of love and encouragement and not just for my son! I needed their love and encouragement too. When he finally started going on the toilet over winter break he insisted on calling his teachers to let them know and they praised him over the phone. Every day my son tells me that Miss Linda and Miss Carolyn love him. And I know that they do too! I cannot say enough positive things about this preschool. I highly highly recommend to anyone!
