I had my hair cut here last week. My hair looks awful and is so uneven. I have never had my hair look so messed up. Now I have to go somewhere else and have it fixed.

AVOID THIS SALON unless you already have an established hair stylist there who you are satisfied with. I am writing this review based on the service I received from Alexandra. Not only did I leave with a different haircut than what I requested, but my hair was also completely uneven. (That is not even to mention the other issues I encountered at this salon which were not as serious but annoying nonetheless.)

I was scheduled with Stephanie, but she had no-called/no-showed for work and instead of canceling her appointments, the other employees were scrambling to cover her appointments while trying to contact her via Facebook since her cell phone was going straight to voice mail. The stylists were all busy, but that is no excuse for the terrible service I received.

My consultation with Alex lasted all of thirty seconds. I explained that I wanted to go back to my natural hair color (dirty blonde) and that I wanted a long A-line bob. I showed her a picture on my phone, which she looked at for about one second and said, "Okay." She then said, "I'm going to cut off some of the back of your hair since we're dying it first. There's no point to dye the hair I'm about to cut off." I agreed to this, but before she even clarified the length I wanted, she chopped off the back of my hair. She then asked, "Is it too short?" I could not completely see the back of my hair, so I could not tell. I feared that she had cut it too short, but I was not sure. Regardless, my hair was already lying on the floor, and there was nothing that could have been done at that point. She obviously should have clarified the length I wanted prior to cutting it.

Alex then put dye on my hair and said she would let me sit for 20 minutes. It was then that I realized she was simultaneously working with two clients at once. There was a woman seated next to me whose hair color had been processing. I sat in the chair for at least 30 minutes while Alex worked with her other client before another hairstylist finally came and took me to wash the dye out.

When I returned to the chair, I informed Alex that my forehead was stained with dye. She said, "Oh, I can get that off later." She never did. After I paid, I remembered that I still had dye all over my forehead and returned to the salon. A different hairstylist brought me a tiny piece of a napkin and said, "Here. This is the dye remover we use." I then had to remove it myself using a mirror in the store next to a makeup display.

I ended up leaving the salon with dark brown hair--not dirty blonde. My cut and color were not what I requested. My hair was much shorter in the back than the picture I had showed her. As I looked closer at my hair after I got home, I realized that the layers, as well as the length itself, were completely uneven. The left side of the back of my hair was at least two inches longer than the right side. I also would not consider the blow dry treatment I got a "blow out."

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I ended up speaking with Trish, the manager. She was not very pleasant, but she did refund my money. I am happy to have gotten my money back, but now I'm stuck with dark brown, uneven hair cut into a style I don't even like and didn't want.

Steer clear of this place unless you are already established and happy with your stylist here.

So I went on a Saturday with a girlfriends day shopping out and I was asked 20 times in 5 minutes if I needed help am I ok. I couldnt even be left alone 10 seconds to browse. Lady's tell us your name and let us know your there if we need help and leave us be. I felt like I was in a car lot buying a car. VERY ANNOYING. I will stick with the northwest side. They have manners...
