I had a 2002 Lincoln LS that wasn't running and was stuck in the Venetian Employee parking garage. I filled out a form on Nevada Pic-A-Part website and immediately got a call from them the next day which was December 3rd, to get more information about my car. I was told that I have to hire a 3rd party towing company to take it out from the garage and move it in an open space because their tow truck is too big for the garage. I didn't get to have my car towed until couple of weeks after. I called again on a Sunday, December 20th and explained that I have finally moved my car into an open space. I was told to call the dispatch the next day to schedule an appointment which was totally fine. I called the dispatch on Wednesday, December 23rd, a guy answered and told me that he will transfer me to Maria. I was on hold for a while and finally got transferred but to Maria's voicemail. So I called back again and got the same guy, and told him that I got a voicemail box, so he put me on hold again and Maria finally answered. I told her that I want to make an appointment to pick up my car, and I was transferred again to another guy to get my information and my car's, but he didn't book the appointment yet. He offered $200 for my car and I was fine with it. But he transferred me back again to Maria to FINALLY booked the appointment. She told me that since it's the Holidays that weekend, that the earliest available schedule they had was on Monday, December 28th and I told her that it was perfectly fine. She told me that they will have to give me a call an hour to 45 minutes prior to towing my car and that they won't know exactly what time, or if it was going to be in the morning or afternoon, and again I told her that I'm fine with it. Monday came and they never called. I called the dispatch aroung 3:30pm to ask what could have happened, Maria answered and told me that they did call but it was a wrong phone number. I, then provided her my correct phone number and she told me that they will call me the next day. Tuesday came, and they never called at all. I gave up and searched for another junk yard. I found B&R Auto Wrecking online that night and filled out their form online. The next day, Wednesday Morning, December 30th, I received an email from B&R and offered me $300 for my car. I replied right away and told the lady that I want to make an appointment. She said that someone's going to call me to book the appointment. Got a call an hour later from B&R and booked the appointment to pick up the same day. Nevada Pic-A-Part finally called me after that but I never answered. Couple hours later, my car got finally towed by B&R. Totally hassle free plus I got more cash back. I understand that Nevada Pic-A-Part has lot of cars already and that they're always busy, but you do not make a promise to a customer and make them look stupid from waiting for a call the whole day for few days and expect them to drop everything in their schedule because you can't give them a ballpark estimate of what time you're going to call them. What's the point of booking an appointment if you're not planning to show up. At least give a courtesy call to the customer that you won't make it that day so we won't be waiting for nothing. To be honest, Nevada Pic-A-Part would have earned my respect if they were honest and just rejected me from the start, and tell me that their junk yard is too full already. That I would accept. Don't waste your valuable time with them. Call B&R Auto Wrecking.

BUNCH OF CROOKS!!

I want to this place looking for parts. When I got there they opened my toolbox and took a quick clance. I said there was only tools. My tool box is NOT organized at all, just kinda thrown in. I spent a $150 dollars in body parts. When I went to leave the looked in my toolbox again. This time the took everything out of my toolbox. They found a BROKEN spring loaded clamp that was always a pain to remove so I changed mine to a screw clamp and threw tho old one in my toolbox.

They also found a old valvebody part and a old door lock with NO key. Both mine. All of it TRASH!

They wanted me to pay for them!! I told them it was trash from my toolbox and to throw it away. They said if I didn't pay I could come back. I said I would never come back to pay for the trash in my toolbox that I didn't even know was there!

If I spent $150 why wouldn't I spend $5 more????

There are other pic a parts in town! I sugest useing one of them and not this place!

If you do find youself STUCK going here I sugest DUMPING your toolbox out and let THEM put the tools back in!!
