The staff is friendly and the prices are very good. They usually have a sale running which is nice. I've been there several times.

My name is lisa and i just move to long island ,and i needed furniture i found nassau furniture ,when i came in to the store the sale staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the item i was looking for ,after waiting for 2 long week's it finally came in ,long wait but that was ok because they kept me informed .unfortunately my sofa was damage and i was very mad about theat !!!!!

but after talking to then on the phone then help me out and fix the problem promptly ,in a few day's a service guy come by and took good care of me and now i am very happy .

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I'm writing a really detailed post just to show that a person literally cannot make all this stuff up. And the 'Positive' reviews on the bottom must be fake reviews because there is NO way so many of us can have the same horrible experience.

FIRST DAY - Walked in and selected a bedroom set - Donna said she could have the furniture available in 4 days and I thought wow! that's perfect let's order. Ordered the bed frame and dresser first week of June and PAID IN FULL as they requested.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE - Called Donna on June 20th asking when I could expect the furniture as it was scheduled to come in on the 22nd and her reply was "oh we didn't order it yet - you didn't confirm that you wanted the bedroom set" - [I paid in full.. if that's not confirmation I'm not sure what is.] She then continued by saying they only had the bed frame and the dresser would arrive separately.

DELIVERY #1 - Two young thugs show up with white tanks and saggy pants in the most sketchiest brown van without any tools to assemble the furniture. After using my tools to assemble, they took the boxes out and instead of taking the boxes with them, proceeded to leave the entire box WIDE open on the side of the house causing cardboard and foam pieces to be strewn ALL OVER the street.

THE BED FRAME - After the thugs left, we realized there was no board to hold the mattress up, so I thought ok - we have a second delivery coming up, we'll ask for them to send the board then. Called Donna up and she said we never ordered it. Well yes, if you did your job correctly and told me I need to get a board, I would pay for it - I requested to speak to a supervisor to report this mess so far and her reply to me was "He's a Jew he only comes in certain hours." Fine - what time DOES he come in so I CAN speak to him - she would not tell me nor give me a clear answer. I finally got in touch with him and he was the most rudest, disrepsectful, obnoxious man I have ever dealt with.

THE DRESSER - I spoke to Donna / Alan over 6 times because they could not figure out WHERE the dresser was. Everytime i called them to ask them a potential delivery date, either Donna or Alan would say "mmm maybe Monday, possibly Tuesday.. well just to be sure maybe Wednesday" It's hard enough to take random days off of work, but its even harder to take one day off and then switch it because Nassau Furniture couldn't get their act together. Fine - Tuesday rolls around, and when I call to find out what time frame I should aim to be home, Donna said "oh.. I don't think it's going to come tomorrow - it'll be here next week." I got a phone call that same night, and she said they were delivering my furniture -- at which point I had to call my manager and request to switch my day AGAIN.

DELIVERY #2 - I finally received my bed frame and 'bunkie board' and completed my order an entire Month after they promised.

This establishment needs to go out of business ASAP. I'd rather spend an extra $100-200 bucks then deal with any person from this store every again.

This was my first shopping experience with Nassau Furniture and I really enjoyed viewing the different styles and designs and even after going back to other sites I then returned to Nassau Furniture to make my purchase. Here I found the better deal and even free shipping. So far I am very happy. Sincerely, Jonathan

Really great selection and great prices. I was furnishing my whole apartment and I found everything I needed at the right price. Everything came on time except a rug that was delayed a week but, they gladly delivered it to my home once it came.

Delivered a sofa with no legs. Delivery guys called Al on the spot. He ensured us they would come to our house by Friday via UPS. Despite paying a 100.00 set up fee we would have to put the legs on ourselves. Come Tuesday, no legs. I called Al he had no clue who I was and no record of our order so I had to fax over our receipt. He tried to convince us the sofa was a "modern, legless sofa." Eventually he agreed to deliver the legs the following Friday. Legs never came and he stopped returning my calls and the sale girls, once again "have no record of my purchase." Filed a complaint with BBB but they never responded so I had to dish out another 100.00 for legs.

Zero stars is what this business deserves in rating - one star is one to many! Nassau Furniture of Hempstead did not deliver the items as indicated at time of purchase (2 weeks), I purchased the items on May 24th; items were delivered June 28th, after I repeatedly called the furniture store for information. Al (delivery coordinator, manager, owner - he wears many hats, all for his convenience), stated for my inconvenience they would assemble the items, never wrote them on the order form for his delivery men to be aware. My furniture was thrown, as if it were garbage. Assembly did not take place, Al did not contact me on Sunday (6/30) as his staff assured me he would. I contacted Al Monday (7/1) and his nonchalant attitude and complete dismay towards his customers is despicable. He will not find any other means to appease my discontentment, because he does not value the customers. Had I known this business' BBB rating was an F, along with the other negative reviews I would not have purchased anything from this establishment.

Al seems to be the only "management" individual an unhappy customer can speak with, it's terrible. I truly hope everyone realizes the type of business this is, they do not commit to customers, nor do they try to resolve customer complaints to maintain a good clientele.

1 star is too much....DO NOT GO THERE AT ALL... I ordered furniture in FEB and received the last piece in MAY and... it was the wrong item... The service is horrible and the prices are actually higher than purchasing from a chain such as BOBS.. Delivery service is a joke - young kids that came in looking like local thugs - very unprofessional and didnt know a thing about what they were delivering or how to assemble the things they actually delivered. The customer service individuals didnt assist rather just gave excuses and tried to divert all questions and concerns. The worse place to buy... its best to purchase from walmart or kmart and put together yourself

I would never do business with this place again. First delivery parts missing. 2nd delivery with parts never showed. My kids had no bed to sleep in for 4 days. Next items was poor quality. Delivered replacement and was wrong. Requested refund for items numerous times and keeps wanting to replace unit. Just yesterday was told had a schedule delivery no show, no call, no nothing once again. I have still yet to receive a replace or refund. I just keep getting the run around and excuses blaming the delivery staff. If there was a rating of no stars that would be it.

Stay away from this business!!!

False, misleading advertising of items not in stock, items that are actually discontinued. Never return your phone calls. If you need refund, you need to come back to the store and they will press you to purchase different item. If I could I would give zero stars.

These reviews are clearly fake. Worst company to order from!! When I originally ordered I was told to wait for a confirmation call for the delivery date, I had to call them three days later and they said it didn't even go through! Then they finally called a week later to say it would be delivered between 1&7pm the next weds. You really need that big of a window time?? So 7:30pm came and still no dresser, when I called the moron on the phone seemed confused like "no one called to reschedule you for tomorrow?" NO! He then told me they got held up with another deliver. Wow. He then tells me he can have it to me before 1pm the next day, I've called 3 times today at 2pm still no dresser. Never again

The sellers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Both Al & Danny made me feel at ease, secured and they were not pushy with my sales. From the start i had an estimate delivery date, and kept me informed of the delivery on a regular basis.

I ordered furniture from this company because they are located within an hour from my house and I figured that would cut down on shipping charges. They were extremely unorganized and I would never order from them again. First they told us our order would be there before 5pm, so I left work early to be there and wait for it. When 6:00 rolled around I called and no one could tell me where they were or what was going on. They didn't show up until 8pm, and one of the furniture pieces was missing! (an entire bookcase) When the delivery man showed me the order form- it was just a piece of paper someone scribbled the order on! Then when I called to schedule the delivery of the bookcase- I requested an evening delivery- and they told me they "do not deliver in the evening" yet they showed up at my house at 8pm! The thing that annoyed me the most was that they never called or gave me any status updates to reassure me that their delivery schedule was behind. I understand that things happen, but at least notify your customers!

Ordered a couch from here while on vacation in New York. It was delivered in a timely manner. I was helped by a very knowledgeable staff. Will definitely come back to them again

Danny and Ricky were tremendous and extremely accommodating. They found out my needs and got me a great price! We totally recommend them to anyone.
