If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst place to live in Hattiesburg, MS. I'm being so serious, if you can find a nice refrigerator box to live in it would have better heat and air and less roaches. Management is terrible, the only thing she(Maria I'm talking to you) does is sit on her computer trying to take appropriate selfies for her match. com profile. (No ones swiping right Maria, no one.) I feel bad for the students that work there because there is nothing they can do about all the complaints you WILL HAVE. They can only listen to their slumlord boss. The office workers should get an award for the crap they put up with because of this lady.

But among the problems you will have : roaches, broken appliance that will stay broken, roaches, silver fish, gnats, roaches, roaches, and no matter how clean you are roaches. Like so many roaches it looks like Egypt during the Exodus. Save your parents or yourself the trouble live somewhere else.

Terrible. They don't even deserve the 1 star I'm giving them. Management is the worst I have ever seen, Maria (the manager) ignored me for an hour and a half one time. Our whole building is infested with roaches. We have silverfish, gnats, and flies. All of our appliances have been broken and it has taken a month for them to fix them. The air conditioner breaks once a month (it's 80 degrees, but they don't care). I would highly recommend not living here, it's not worth the trouble, money, and it's definitely not worth living amoungst hundreds of roaches.

The worst place you can ever deal with. I had to threaten legal and Better Business Bureau action to even attempt to get back a measly deposit tendered to them LAST SEPTEMBER. Being patient, since I was told that little bit of cash, which is probably 2 months of a tenant there, would take 3 months AT LEAST (ARE YOU FREGGING KIDDING ME) to process from home office (IS IT IN MALAYSIA???), i didn't make any inquiries till the end of December. No return calls AT ALL, b/c you don't exist to them, read up on how they treat ALL of their properties (SCUMLORDS, but the place looks okay from the outside). Finally went to the office in late-January (yeah, you have to approach users face-to-face, but they're just so FAKE, that I couldn't more than once) and was told that it would be processed the first week of February and that I would receive a call from the property manager HIMSELF, when it was done. No call. Was then told he would put my payment on next conference call, which was mid February. (are they just so trendy-bunpkins knowing about conference calls-LIARS!!), and nothing happened. It was really starting to affect my actions/plans (cancelled Spring Break trip).



From February forward, old and new mgmt (this is Hattiesburg MS, mind you, so every conversation must be either a lie or soaked with unearned condescension), promised a return of it, or in March, I would receive it by the end of Spring Break (second week of March, at that point I was told check was already in the mail).



Thinking I was dealing with a COMPANY and not some bum off the street, I informed my school that the deposit on a required abroad stint for my International Business major would be paid by the end of March. After being patient, I started to call to see what was the holdup starting from the first week in April. The bums NEVER called me back and the manager that promised payment was always out of office. Last week I was able to reach her, and then I was told that the prior conversation had NEVER taken place, even as the claim as to why I didn't receive the payment in promised February is that they had the wrong zip code..to which we verified full address. If you trust these people, you are a complete moron. Now my first choice of abroad university is filled, and I risk losing everything I've worked for dealing with these "people", being polite..as I had other priorities to handle, thinking I was dealing with fair brokers.



And never call them b/f 10am because they are so lazy, it goes to an answering service, which immediately hangs up on you. Did I tell you that even the secretary after I was promised in Feb that my deposit was processed, but new mgmt came in told me that "they had higher priorities other than you to consider". Just more proof that MS people are pretty snobby...but switch roles and they'd be crying about minorities all day long. If you rent from these bastards, you are the biggest sucker.



I've just never had anyone just blatantly lie to me before, as far as connected to some sort of LEGITIMATE (seeming) business. This is the future of corporate America if we let Southerners run it...just a bunch of sycophants that will say or do ANYTHING, to keep their jobs. And they sell it with that folksy, MS stuff. The sickest thing is they probably even claim to be Christian too, and will probably be GREAT POLITICIANS. I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to live here, deal with them, or even talk to them in public. And I swear on my life I wasn't the kind that just called and called..I would give a couple weeks AT LEAST for whatever promises they gave me to happen, esp with the Spring Break check-in-mail thing. Mostly, cause they were so nice on the phone, but they were lying or blowing me off and it was pissing me off. F--k that MS folksy stuff, their job wasn't that hard to do in my case, and I made plans from those promises.
