Hattiesburg City Public Services Department offers supervision of all construction and engineering projects for infrastructure improvements. It operates through various public services divisions including traffic, streets, engineering, drainage, equipment shop and service area, construction, sanitation, street cleaning, health and maintenance, water transmission and distribution, water plant and wastewater collection and wastewater treatment. It offers a wide range of services, such as pot hole repair, replacement of curb and gutter, mosquito control, sweeping paved streets, grass cutting in parks, collection of residential garbage, repair of leaks, water meter repair, and repair of aerators and pump stations. The department is located in Hattiesburg, Miss.
