Dr. Johannes and Dr. Stephanie aim to provide an environment that help their patients attain optimal dental health. The doctors offer children's and adult dentistry. Children are seen from one year old to make sure their dental development is normal and get them accustomed to going to the dentist in a kid-friendly treatment area. Adult dentistry includes cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, root canals and wisdom teeth extractions.

Child's Dentist

Dr. Halterman was wonderful with my son. My son was very nervous about having two baby teeth pulled to make much needed room for permanent teeth. Dr. Halterman was able to put him at ease and my son actually looks forward to going to the dentist now. I wish everyone could have this same kind of experience, maybe more adults would go to the dentist!

Sealants: A dental sealant is a filling material that is applied to a chewing surface of a back tooth. The sealant acts as a barrier, protecting enamel by “sealing out” plaque (bacteria) and food. About 80% of initial cavities start in the pits and grooves of teeth. If done properly, sealants are an extremely great preventive treatment. However, not all people need dental sealants. We highly recommend sealants for most patients.

Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. We recommend this treatment to anyone experiencing discoloration that cannot be fixed with whitening or if your teeth are damaged. Crowns

There are times when they decay is so bad that we just have to use a porcelain crown. We also use them with severely damaged teeth or teeth that have already had multiple fillings. Root Canal Treatment
Root canals are needed when decay and bacteria spread for too long without treatment. At a certain point, this decay makes it to the pulp inside the tooth. This pulp includes nerves, therefore infection generally causes a lot of pain. Since this is happening on the inside of the tooth, you won’t necessarily see the damage.
