Byrd Tire and Automotive Services

I've been using Byrd for over 20 years. They're excellent. They fix it, fix it right and are reasonably priced. If they make a mistake, and occasionally they do, they fix it quickly and apologeticly. I've never been disappointed.

I have been a customer of Byrd's for over 15 years and they are absolutely the best car repair shop I have ever deal with. At one time I was driving a very old Honda Civic that had a blue book value of about $600. The dealer wanted over $1,800 to repair it. Byrd was able to fix it for less than $200. And I was able to get another year out of the car. You don't find that kind of honesty every day. I even wrote a letter to the editor the Hagerstown newspaper about this. They do good work, recommend money-saving tips, and don't do work that you don't need. The work is always done professionally and I have always been satisfied.

I had my car in for a major service. I had to take it back because the mechanic actually left parts off the repair. There were bolts missing, they broke an evaporator hose fitting. I'm actually taking the car back to the dealer to have them look at the repair b/c I'm still having the same problem.Tire service is great, but I'd be hesitant to take my vehicles back there for major service.
