About the course
Black Rock Golf Course is the newest addition to great golf in Western Maryland. This course takes you on a golf journey from its opening holes tha are nestled in the Shenandoah Valley, to its spectacular back nine with scenic views of the Appalachian Mountains. The greens at Black Rock, are bent grass, putt true and will hold a well struck approach shot. Several sets of tees on each hole make the course exciting to play for many levels of golfers. Our sculptured fairways, excellent greens, outstanding practice facility and spectacular scenery provide for an unrivaled golf experience and exceptional value. Black Rock is also located minutes from historical Antietam Battlefield and nearby Harper's Ferry. You'll feel right at home here. It's close, convenient and challenging. Best described as a long course with mixture of mature trees and difficult rough, Black Rock is a choice venue for shotgun and large tournaments. A unique facility featuring a fully stocked pro shop with a oversized putting green and a driving range with its own chipping green and sand trap.
