In celebration of the jungles of the world and as part of our commitment to the environment, we have dedicated some of our drinks to the jungles, giving them the names of famous jungles. Each time someone orders a drink, we are reminded of the life the jungles give us. Also, JJB's owners furnished and decorated JJB using at least 85% repurposed materials that may otherwise have been thrown away. JJB donates its juice pulp to local farmers for compost and uses biodegradable vegetable-based products such as cups and straws where possible and to minimize our carbon footprint. History Established in 2013, Jungle Juice Bar (JJB) opened in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, in May 2013, as the flagship store of what we hope to build into a national chain of health-friendly eateries. Jungle Juice Bar offers a wide range of fresh fruit/vegetable smoothies and raw juice blends. At the customers' request Jungle Juice Bar has expanded its menu options to include healthy snacks, sandwiches, salads, desserts and other vegan/vegetarian selections--all of which we prepare in-house, using fresh fruits and vegetables, and other whole, unprocessed ingredients.
