The Tri-County Health Department serves more than 1,250,000 residents of Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties in Colorado. The department also provides various dental services, including X-rays, cleanings, fillings and replacement of bridges, crowns and dentures. The Tri-County Health Department s nursing services include children's developmental screening, childhood immunization, case management for pregnant women and cancer screening. In addition, it specializes in preventing infectious diseases, such as hepatitis A, meningitis and whooping cough.
