after reading the great reviews, I was excited about making an appointment to get a new style. I called and had to leave a message, and I waited.....so, I called again and left another message...and still no one called me back....after 4 attempts I give up....I am very disappointed I couldn't reach anybody to make the appointment.

It's a shame that someone chose to write such a nasty review that is so obviously not true. The salon is so cute and all of the stylist are polite, down to earth and make you feel so welcome!! I went for the first time in March of this year. I sat down in the chair and let Angie do whatever she wanted! I ended up with a completely different hairstyle and color. It is FABULOUS and fits my face and my personality. I have gotten several compliments from complete strangers, which never ceases to surprise me!!! Angie really knows what she is doing!!!

I went to Hollywood Hair for the first time today, as it is closer to my new apartment, and much more conveniently located than my former salon. I had a color and cut/style done by Stacey. I have to say I am VERY impressed, and have definitely found a new salon! The prices are very reasonable compared to some other places. She was very friendly, professional and precise. She s been doing this for 25 years she said, and it really shows! Hopefully she ll be doing this for many more years, as she worked magic on my hair. The color is beautiful and the cut is very flattering for my face shape. I highly recommend this business, and already convinced a friend of mine to try Stacey. Thank you so much Stacey! :)

The fact that this salon is in a historic house, only adds to its charm & character (staff willingly share the history of the house). I found the staff to be warm, friendly yet professional while meeting the needs & wants of each client - a caring personal touch. I went in unknowing staff to have someone correct a bad hair cut received at another salon. I too, had Angie - I was blessed. She listened, took her time & provided professional input. My highlights & color are beautiful, didn't have to go home to re-style my hair (it was great) & she did wonders to correct my prior hair cut. I have already scheduled my next appointment & consider myself . . .a regular client!
