Augusta Road Pet Hotel

Augusta Rd Pet Hotel is a great place to take your dogs either full time for a doggy day care or for short term boarding. Gary kept our great dane Maxwell from the time we brought Maxwell home at 10 weeks old. Maxwell went every day when I worked and always enjoyed going. Gary helped with issues such as potty training and behavioral problems we encountered with Maxwell growing up. He kept him until we moved away. When we would come back for visits Gary would keep him. Gary is very nice. The place is clean. He has extensive knowledge of the animals he keeps and I always felt comfortable leaving Maxwell with him. Would highly recommend him over using any other kennel services that leave your dogs locked up all day with no interaction.

This place is awesome and is a great value. Gary took great care of my lab/german shepherd mix, and when I came to pick the dog up, it looked super happy and well taken care of. Will definitely be back and will tell friends about it. They let your dog be a dog here and do an incredible job. Gary is a really cool guy too.

My wife and I first met Gary about 7 years ago when we moved to Greenville. Gary was extremely personable and took EXCELLENT care of our dogs (Charleston 80lb Boxer and Noel 50lb Chow Sheppard mix). We felt very confident in our dogs' well-being when we left them with Gary. Over the years, Gary became like a family member of ours. The kennel was our dogs' second home and they were never apprehensive about going to stay at the kennel. Gary would give them a stocking full of treats and presents at Christmas time. He was always available on very short notice to help us out in jams (more than once)!!! Gary would call to ensure that he was going to have enough room for our dogs when a busy holiday was approaching. When the economy took a turn for the worse, we were unable to properly care for the dogs for a while and Gary took them in while we got back on our feet. His care and love for our dogs was extremely apparent. When we had to put Noel down, Gary offered advice on where to go and preparations to make. He also put Noel's name on the "In Loving Memory" plaque outside the kennel office, which meant a lot during that awful time.



Being like a member of the family over the years, our kids came to call him Uncle Gary and he was always willing to lend a helpful hand. When moving out, Gary was instrumental in helping us to find a realtor to rent our house, kennel our dog during the moving out process, and giving rides to the hotel/airport. His kindness and goodness toward helping his clients as well their animals is obvious from the start. We would HIGHLY recommend Gary and the Augusta Road Pet Hotel to anyone looking for pet services.
