Rebecca L. Chusid M.D. is an experienced, board certified Dermatologist with a broad range of interests and expertise in skin cancer, general dermatology, hair loss, laser surgery, cosmetic and anti-aging dermatology. She graduated with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in the Biological Basis of Behavior. After going on to earn her Medical Degree, which she completed with honors, she was chosen to serve as Chief Resident of her Dermatology residency program. Dr. Chusid also completed two fellowships at both Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, where she focused on skin cancer detection, treatment and research. Dr. Chusid also has expertise in treating hair, having performed multiple clinical trials for hair loss therapy and having overseen the National Alopecia Areata (hair loss) Registry.Dr. Chusid studied cosmetic and anti-aging dermatology under Dr. Sadick, mastering the most advanced and forward-thinking technology and techniques, including toxins, injectables, laser and hair loss treatments. She uses these cosmetic and anti-aging procedures to ensure each of her patients receives skin, hair and nail care which not only keep them safe and healthy, but which also take into consideration the undeniable mind-body-skin connection to ensure her patients feel beautiful and happy as well.Dr. Chusid has been a pioneer in the field of Teledermatology (the electronic practice of dermatology through audio, visual and data communication via telephone and computer) which allows her to remotely diagnose and treat dermatology problems and perform cosmetic consultations, which offers convenience to patients with busy lives and care to patients without in-office access.
