I have had several mortgage loans in my life and I have never gone through financing so easily and so quickly as I did with Heartland Home Mortgage. I went from inquiring about refinancing with Chris Alicki to actual closing in just a few weeks. I have a better interest rate and a cheaper monthly payment. He made it so easy. I highly recommend giving Chris a call. I am beyond pleased!

Chris Alicki, that's all I can say. If you want someone that puts you first and someone that treats you like family then he is your guy. He did an amazing job on a short notice to get us where we wanted to be. Thank you again big man. We will be back and direct everyone to you.

Alex Ohlrich worked with us a year ago to help us refinance our home and our finances were not quite where they were supposed to be at. So Alex told us what we needed to do and he worked very hard to get us in a position to refinance our home the following year and it worked out GREAT! I was referred to Heartland from a friend at work. I was unsure as I had used my bank in the past. My friend said Heartland got there loan closed when there bank had turned them down, so I called and my loan closed in less than 30 days and was much easier than when I had had used my bank before. They even came to my house for the appointment and the closing. Great service.

I would not recommend Heartland Home Mortgage to anyone. Our loan officer is just looking for a quick buck and is not interested in doing any work to help you complete your mortgage. We went with him because he said he preferred to work face-to-face with individuals. When we received our appraisal there were numerous mistakes on it and we asked him to look into it. He simply said it looked good, it was out of his control, and said there was nothing he could do. We asked him to come out to our house to discuss the issues we had with the appraisal and he refused. He said he wasn't getting paid until our loan closed and made it clear he would invest no additional time into it. We had to write a letter to the bank/appraisal company, look for new comparables, and do all the work that he should have been doing as our loan officer. We detailed what happened to Heartland Mortgage. It was clear that they are a good group of friends and were not interested in trying to resolve anything with us.
