Went there yesterday to get highlights done all over. Elaine did a great job.

I had really dark hair, so I was nervous getting light highlights done, but it turned out beautiful. Now my teen girl didn't like her haircut, but her was done by another stylist there. Elaine did a haircut on my hair and it looked amazing:). And on top of that, she was great, so friendly:)! Totally recommending her to my friends! if you need highlights, and if you want a nice modern haircut : ASK FOR ELAINE:)).

I had an awful experience with Elaine. She was disrespectful, rude embarrassing and humiliating me in front of her staff and other customers. She did not introduce herself to me, she did not consult with me, she was impatient and talked very loud. I tried to explain how I wanted my hair cut but she kept rudely interrupting me uninterested in what I had to say and telling me what not to say when she assumed what I was going to say. She should have let me say what I wanted if I wanted to make sure she understood how I wanted my hair cut. She pulled on my hair. I felt uncomfortable with her so I told her I was not going through with a hair cut by her. She was not caring or understanding. She was unprofessional. I got up and left. I am not recommending her hair salons. I do not even want to rate a one star but I have to so that I can post my review. Get manners Elaine.

I went in today to get my hair done for my bridal portraits. I had to get highlights in my hair and I wanted it curled, so I knew it would take a while to do. I ended up sitting in the chair for four hours and had to reschedule my make-up and the photographer for later times. After the first three hours, the back of my hair looked likes a birds nest from being teased and hair sprayed so much with a few waves underneath. We spent an hour trying to fix it and ending up having to change the style to hide all of the mistakes. At this point, I just wanted to leave. When I went to check out, she charged me $160! I was very upset and Elaine had offered to try and fix it, but at this point I was running VERY late, there was more hairspray than hair, and just wanted to get the hell out of there. Because the girl felt bad, she gave me a $20 discount. So I paid $140 for hair that I had to have redone by someone else. I have been using Elaine's on and off for nine years and I will NEVER go there again. If I can rate this lower than a one star, I would.

Elaine's was able to get me in the same day and did a fantastic job. Elaine premed my hair just the way I like it. She was friendly and took special care of me. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Yesterday was me and my husbands anniversary. I wanted to look nice for him and i hadn't had my hair done by a "Professional" in a long time. So I decided to go to Elaines to get my hair done. I asked for my hair to be colored, Highlighted with burgandy and copper highlights, and a hair cut. Well i got the haircut which was cut too short, i kinda got the color although some of my roots still show. I got copper colored highlights but no burgandy. I asked repeatedly where the burgandy highlights were i got several different answers. I was in there for 4 hours. When it came time to pay i told the girl the price should be a little less seeing as there where no burgandy highlights i was told that she did them but they didnt show up. But yes it was the same price. I called to speak to the owner this morning and was asked to meet her at 1:00 so that she could see it. She basically said i got what i paid for. It turns out now the girl who did my hair is saying that she never put burgandy in my hair. And she is saying that i didnt ask for it until after she had done my hair. I will not be going back there again. I figured the manager would be a little nicer to the clients. It is not often that i have the money to treat myself to something and to have it turn out like this really pisses me off.
