Seong's Tae Kwon DO Academy

Beware of this facility!! When I originally called this location, I made it very clear that I was looking for a facility where I wasn't going to have to sign a contract for enrollment. I was assured that I wouldn't have to and I was given a price quote. After a couple months of classes, I was approached by the instructor and asked to volunteer to come in and help out around the facility. When I told him that I wasn't able to, sure enough, the price for my boys' attendance suddenly went up. I was no longer comfortable taking my children there and at the new, much steeper price, had no interest in keeping them there. I advised the instructor that we would no longer be attending but he tried to tell me I had signed a contract. I showed him the paperwork stating that we had specifically agreed on a month to month basis, and he told me that we were ok to quit. A couple months later, we got a bill from them stating that we owed for the rest of the year for both boys. I went in and spoke with the instructor again and reminded him that we were not contracted and did not owe anything further. He said it was a billing error and that he would make sure it was taken care of. Now, two years later, I've received a bill from a collection agency stating that we owe for the remainder of the year for both boys!! So, if you like dealing with people who lie and try to cheat you out of your money, then this is the place for you. If you don't, then I would highly suggest that you stay away from this location.

My son has been at Seongs for 3 years now. He has grown in self-control, strength, and in honoring adults around him. His confidence level has grown because of the special individual care that each teacher gives at Seongs. Master Seong is a wonderful leader, who is caring and knows each child as he meets with them personally before they ever join the program. The program has lots of different classes to choose from with many different times. They also offer excellent extra classes and seminars such as black belt clubs and board breaking classes. It is a great place to put your child or yourself as the classes have high standards and personal care for each student.
