Something Clever

This shop does not value their good customers. I have made the trip from Pgh to this shop for years. I am a preferred customer, having received the card wherein if you spend $20, they "punch" the card, and after so many punches, you get a discount. I bought an item there today, having traveled 60 miles to get there. I was told they don't punch these cards this weekend due to the annual Apple Festival. What does that have to do with anything? I didn't even KNOW it was the Apple Festival; I just knew it was a nice day & wanted to travel to the country to one of my longtime haunts, "Something Clever". I told the salesgirl it is not good business to not punch my card, as I spent money, Apple Festival or not. She refused. What I should have done was told them they can keep the clothing I purchased, or, asked to have spoken to the owner whose name is Quinn. Quinn...you will never see me in your shop again. You do not know how to treat loyal & consistent customers.
