Went 1st time for dinner, 11-6-15. Wife & I had two different entrees, appatizer, wine & domestic beer. All were excellent, as well as waiter, Cody. Menu is extensive, especially for a small town restaurant. The ambiance is not 5 star, but I wasn't going to give them a lower rating for it. Afterall, once again, a small town, booths were comfortable for sure. Consider this a small town gem for clean, fresh, Japanese.

made a 7:00 reservation for a surprise birthday party in the Hibachi room. It first got changed to 7:15 the minute we walked in. Got into the Hibachi room at 8:30 because apparently the chef decided to be late. Even after we sat down we had to wait 30min for one guy to show up. The main chef walked in, looked around, and left. We got some inexperienced dude with no personality. He got everyone's order wrong initially and had to step back out for another 10 min to fix it. Portions were literally a joke, so much so that several people actually asked the chef if this was it. By the time the food was ready I just asked for a to-go box because I didn't want to sit there any longer. Never did they apologise. Before I left, I talked to the manager and she was unbelievably rude and tried to make me look like an idiot which didn't work. I told her I was never coming back and she just said, "Ok", turned around, and walked away. The whole restaurant is a joke. There were 15 in our group and not one of us will be back again.
