Sat at 4: 30 pm...not busy time of the day but no time of customers!!!

We have always been a fan knowing Fred Meijers and living in Grand Rapids and handling risk insurance with them, now retired and moving here , this store is a joke with management. The deli counter gal works in slow motion one client every 10 minutes so most of us just walked away. The managers counter was even worst while two gals just chats while we all waited for 10 minutes before walking out, yes left my full basket there too. No more stopping at this store with poor service every time and appears mgrs are worst than the employees who just look at you while they ignore you always talking with their friends. The employees seem to be playing games among themselves making customers wait. Wheres is a good mgr?

I've had nothing but problems with this store. When I tried to return something I got nothing but attitude from the service desk workers and then when I spoke to a manager I think her attitude was even worse!! I also called them before I returned the item and was I told something completely different on the phone than in the store. (i specially told them I didn't have a reciept on the phone, which they told me was ok, but in the store she tried t0 tell me I can't return it without a receipt!!)

I also just called them to see if they had a certain giftcard and was told "I think we do" and then told to come into the store and look at the giftcard rack!! Why do I want to drive clear out there (I live 15 mins away) to see if you possibly have it when I can just call and the employees could have better customer service and go check for me so I don't need to waste my gas!!
