Ajoy Kumar Sinha, MD

Was referred to this Md by my Lawyer for a car accident case, me and my girlfriend came in together. She was called for xrays after completion of her xray another woman was called in for xray. I asked the receptionist how come i was not called next she explained to me that it was a mistake the lady that went after my girlfriend was suppose to have went first. I said ok, Dr. Ajoy rudely interrupted and said you will get called soon go sit down and relax! You do not want to tell an Adult to go sit down, or to relax in the tone that he did. To add more he said you not even my patient i dont have to see you. This guy is extremely unprofessional and has no right working with patients or ill individuals.

I suffered knee injury and someone recommended Dr Sinha. Because, i don't have insurance, before i made an appointment, i called his office to ask about the cost. They said that cost will be between $150 and $300, depends if i would have to do X-rays while there.

When we got there, first thing they asked me if i want to do X-rays and MRI.I said that is maybe premature and that doctor should decide that.

Then Annete H,office clerk, said that i should pay,upfront, $376 for check-up alone. I told her what they told me on the phone regarding cost and she said that is not true.At this point, i made decision to go to different doctor.

My feel about whole practice was that they just tried to beef up the bill. I do not recommend this practice.

He is the best orthopedic surgeon in Queens. My name is Jorge Rodriguez and Dr. Sinha did my right total knee replacement in April 2010. In my opinion he deserves a reward for the kind of service he provides. The flushing office stuff is excellent. He has a great team in Mount Sinai Queens as well and they did a great job in me. I work underground in the subway, climb stairs and walk around perfectly after the surgery. I cannot wait till I get the left knee done. In future, I am coming to him to for my elbow problem. He always gives good advises and tells me to watch my weight which will help my TKA. He belongs in the medical channel like DR. Gupta. He always spends enough time, makes me laugh and I make him laugh. I always come out happy from his office. If I ever hit the lotto, I will put him in the TV. After seeing my improvement, my wife is also coming to see him. I will highly recommend Dr. Ajoy Sinha for joint replacement surgeries and related problems.

My wife suffered a rare injury which disabled her after giving birth to our son and we wanted to get a Specialist to look at her so we made an appointment. When we came in they told us it would be an hour wait. We sat down because we wanted to get the results. A few minutes later they told us our appointment was really next week but we both knew the appointment had been confirmed days before and we were told our wait was now going to be two hours. We waited. When we finally saw the doctor he looked at the x-ray and said it was fine. My wife is sitting in his room with a cane when he says this. I told him we were told from her OBGYN that they only see 4 women in a year with her condition and asked why this happens. He said, "it just happens to some women." I told him that was not acceptable. He is a Specialist and was just telling me how many years he studied to do what he does and I was shocked that he couldn't tell me anything was the cause. He said it was hormones. And I asked him then why did this happen to my wife and not all women that give birth. He said it just happens. I could not believe that we waited two hours (with our 3 month old baby) to hear from him that he could not be more specific. He spent most of the brief time we were with him, pretending to be interested in us while at the same time ignoring our questions. When I pressed him to give me a real answer to what was wrong with my wife he became upset and told me not to come back. He even went so far as to tell his assistant to call 911 when I would not accept his non-answers but instead questioned him. I think he is a complete quack with no real answers as to why anything happens which defeats the entire premise of being a doctor, let alone a Specialist. Hands down the worst doctor I have ever been to or heard of. He is truly a joke because he did not offer any real solution. On top of all of this he had the nerve to suggest that if my wife took a bath that would help more than anything. We left upset, disgusted and amazingly disillusioned towards medical professionals. He is not someone you want to ever see.

I recently took my mother to Dr. Sinha's office. She needed a knee replacement surgery. Dr. Sinha was very professional and knowledgeable in his approach and helped improve her condition significantly.



The staff at his office is very professional. I have been to Dr. Sinha's office several times and have never had to wait long.



Dr. Sinha takes personal care of his patients and is very considerate.
