Why Choose Low Moisture Organic Carpet Cleaning?

A large national survey asked customers who had their carpets cleaned what their biggest complaint was.
The overwhelming #1 answer was that their carpets were too wet and took way too long to dry. The #2 complaint was that most of the stains came back after the carpet dried.
These complaints are primarily due to the cleaning process.
Traditional steam cleaning (which is really hot water extraction - no steam in used) is an old process that can leave your carpets wet for many hours (or even days when not done properly). This system relies on high water pressure and detergent to clean (which can force water and dirt down into the pad and even the subfloor). A lot of the water is then sucked out of the carpet, but it still takes a long time to totally dry. This can cause problems including wicking (stains coming back) and quicker re-soiling, and is also a real inconvenience.
Technology has come a long way over the last 50 years.
With our VLM (Very Low Moisture) process your carpet will be dry in less than 2 hours (usually about 30-60 minutes); stains will not come back, and the carpet will repel dirt better after cleaning.

The Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning Process

Thorough Vacuuming
Includes vacuuming along your baseboards and around any furniture that is not being moved. This is a very important step in the process in order to remove as much dry dirt and debris as possible before wetting the carpet.
Pre-Spotting
Specially formulated cleaning agents are used to pre-treat any special spots or stains.
Preconditioning
An eco-friendly encapsulating solution is worked (agitated) into the carpet to separate the dirt from the carpet fibers and surround (encapsulate) the soil with a polymer film which prevents the soil from re-attaching to the carpet fibers.
Deep Cleaning
A counter rotating brush (CRB) machine is used to clean from the bottom up and safely remove the dirt and debris that is embedded in your carpet without saturating the carpet and padding. Other equipment may also be used in the process to help result is a clean carpet that stays cleaner longer, prevents old stains from reappearing (wicking), and dries in under 2 hours (usually 30-60 minutes).
Grooming
Lastly, your carpet is hand and/or machine groomed to make it look great!
