Clayton Downing Middle School offers educational opportunities for students in grades six through eight. It offers a special education program for students with various disabilities and gifted and talented education. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Clayton Downing Middle School additionally offers a program in technology education that includes instruction in Excel, PowerPoint, word processing and keyboarding. It has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as cross country, basketball, wrestling, track and field, volleyball and football. The school also supports band, choir and orchestra clubs. Clayton Downing Middle School s library provides a range of reading and reference materials. In addition, it has a parent-teacher association that publishes a newsletter and supports several fundraising programs. The school is located in Flower Mound, Texas, and is a part of the Lewisville Independent School District.
