I saw my new used truck online at auto trader.com. I was looking to replace my old ranger which was falling apart on me. I notice the current truck that I have Nissan Frontier advertised from Midwest Auto Center in Florence Kentucky on Auto-trader.com. I schedule an appointment for a test drive and to check the vehicle out. I came in not having the intent to buy and the sales person was very friendly. He was really cool very understanding. He wasn't pushy at all which I extremely like. He showed me the truck and let me check it out and took it for a test drive. Everything worked no leaks nothing wrong that I could see right then and there. everything worked on the test drive and I fell in love with it. I enjoy riding it around and now I take the long and extra long way home from work just so I can drive it. Anyways, they sold me a great truck they worked with me and ran credit score and before i knew it they sold me the truck. I am very thankful for Kevin Lowe. He is one of the best sales men I've ever met. He loves his job and I can tell by the body language and the way he talked too. He was very helpful answered all my questions helped me get the truck. I didn't have the money to make the down payment til at least a couple of days later. now remember I didn't have the intent to buy a vehicle that very same day. but I told Kevin I will make a down payment on that Saturday and once pay day hit which was that Thursday I went ahead and went down there to make my down payment. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to buy a used vehicle to go to Midwest Auto Center in Florence Kentucky and buy a car from them. especially from Kevin. Oh and also extra brownie points for the business is that they are closed on Sundays which is very rare and I really like that. That gives the employees time to go to church if they go to church and or spend time with their families.

Great customer service

Since I first stepped on the lot I felt absolutely comfortable. Kyle helped me look for a car that was not only perfect for me but one that was right in my price range. Everyone there made this a wonderful experience and if I ever

need another car I would absolutely 100% by from Midwest Auto Store. Thanks Kyle and everyone there. You have helped me out in some many ways. Thank you.

Don't listen to reviews made by people that did'nt buy a car from Midwest Auto Store, listen to the ones that did, and find out how good they treat people. The reviewers who didn't purchase are usually pissed because they made "Low Ball" offers that they didn't except. I have purchased several cars there and got a great deal upfront. I know that people drive from other cities and states because they offer the lowest pricing you can find, so don't go there and expect thousands in discounts, thats just stupid. I tell all my family, friends and co workers to go there and none of them have ever told me a bad word about them. They are growing so fast, they don't have the staff to keep up. Last time I was in there, customers out numbered the staff 5 to 1, they informed me they are hiring additional staff to keep up with growth they are experiencing. I guess word is getting out what an awesome place it is. I hope they don't get so big that they lose their no pressure family feel. I have dealt with everyone there, the owner is not a "Used Car Salesman", he is just a friendly small business owner trying to provide good service and support economic growth to his community. They don't put the Big Dealership pressure on you, its more of a family atmosphere. Brad and Trevin are great, they have to arrange all the loans, deal with service, run a body shop, sell accessories, and sell the cars on top of all that. They provide great service while juggling multiple things at once. I too work in retail sales and understand that you can't please everybody when it comes to dealing with the public. I am a very happy customer and will continue to shop there, refer people, and support my community.

Over all they had a lot of nice cars at great prices. The store seemed very nice, and all the people I worked with were very nice and made the experience enjoyable. There were several issues with the car I purchased that had not been taken care of due to Midwest getting it in so soon, (hole in seat, lose fabric on center console, etc) , but they scheduled an IOU date where they fixed everything. Trevin, who I worked with on all the paper work, made everything very easy and almost pain free aside from writing a rather large check. I would defiantly look for my next car there first due to the great prices.

I kept watch on VW Beetles on Craig's list. Midwest had a nice one listed. I traveled to Lexington first to look at Beetles when the best one and cleanest one was close to my house in Florence at Midwest Auto. The salesman was very nice. I knew I wanted the car as soon as I saw how clean it was. My daughter loves it!

Good service, the car costs less than KBB, and the maintenance is cheaper than other big dealerships. The most importance is that MJ is a very honest and friendly guy.

I never heard of Midwest Auto Store, when I bought a groupon for having my car detailed. I scheduled the appointment without a probelm. I was pleasantly surprised when I pick my car up. It looked great! I driver a 3 row seat SUV, and haul kids and everything you can imagine in my car. (Bags of mulch, top soil and flowers.) Midwest did a nice job on the carpet.

When I first arrived at Midwest Auto I was nervous because I thought I’d be getting the usual sales pitch and someone harassing me while I looked at cars. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and non-pushy the associates all were. I got a great price on the car I purchased and the sales department was extremely helpful all the way though. Definitely recommend Midwest Auto for anyone looking for a quality used car.

This dealership is just fantastic. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a car used or new. I did get the best service and advice. All the people I dealt with were honest and professional. I really did not have to do anything once I found the car that I liked, I checked to make sure I am getting a good deal which I did, they took over and did it all. I drove away a happy man. The owner was great.

I love this Place. I have used them for service few times and been fair and great. Toyota quoted me $600 for my brake job and they have done that job using original factory parts for about $200 less. I love the new look and all the accessories that they carry. I guess they really know what they are doing as I have watched them growing 3-4 bigger in the last year driving by the store

I wish I had started at this place, instead of it being my third dealership of my day. I left the first two "high pressure" dealerships with a nasty taste in my mouth. Dealing with the owner (MJ) and a sales guy named Trevin were a breath of fresh air. Zero pressure and they could answer all the questions I had for them. I asked to see two different Civics, which Trevin could quickly find and bring to the front. Both salespeople seemed more like "carnuts" than smooth operators. They knew their cars and their inventory, and I never got any of that normal used car runaround that I had gotten earlier from the bad dealerships. Driving away with the contract in hand, I felt relieved and contented that I had gotten a fair deal on a solid car. I immediately called my parents and recommended the place, and I will recommend the dealership to any friend or coworker who is thinking about a quality used car.

Never go there! I bought a gr...

Never go there! I bought a groupon detail service at Midwest Auto Store, a $100 for $200 value. I scheduled my detail service several weeks in advance for a 9 am drop off. I had to wait in the driveway for 15 minutes next to one of the employees in the morning because the manager was not there to open the gate allowing access to the parking lot. The drop off experience was very awkward. The employee said very little to me, so finally the manager came out. He proceeded to tell me the Groupon deal was just a ploy, so it would draw in new customers, so they will spend more money. Seriously, doesn't everybody already know that? And why would you outright say it to a customer? Then he added that they were only going to do a quick cleaning and not to expect too much! Next we looked at my car. He said because there was foam debris on my passenger side seat I would be charged an extra fee of $25 because they would have to remove the seat to vacuum under it. I was running late for work, so I said okay without putting much thought into the matter. I was scheduled to pick up my car at 4 pm. At 3:30 while en route, I received a call from Midwest Automotive Store to inform me that my car was not ready for pick up. I delayed arriving until 4:45 pm, and I decided to question the extra fee because I realized it was added on just to make more money and they weren't really going to remove my car seat. The manager insisted that I had to pay because I had agreed. I said okay because technically I had previously agreed. I took care of paperwork and my extra fee and proceeded to wait until 5:45 pm before having my car presented to me by the apologetic customer service representative. He was very nice. The care was clean, but far from impressive. They did not wipe out some of the storage compartments, and it was obvious that they had forgotten about my car until they had called me at 3:30 to let me know it would not be ready by 4 pm. I was originally planning to leave a generous tip, but after the awkward interactions with the morning staff and the manager, the failure to clean my car until the last minute, to rush the cleaning and miss areas, and the manager's greed, dishonesty and disinterest in customer satisfaction were to compelling. I left no tip, and I will never return to the store! I would give a zero star rating if possible!!!

I had a terrible experience wi...

I had a terrible experience with Midwest Auto Store. A few months ago I bought a Toyota Corolla from them that ended up having all kinds of undisclosed damages. The car was wobbling badly, so I paid for a pair of new tires (not the store) because they swore that was the problem. The car was still wobbling, so I brought it back and they looked again and found part of the sub-frame was bent. They pulled the frame and swore again that it was fixed and the wobble was gone. The car was still wobbling, so this time I took it to my own mechanic and frame shop. They found many more undisclosed damages and a bent wheel. Midwest Auto Store paid for a used wheel, but MJ refused to pay for the other damages because they weren’t affecting “driveability”. MJ literally told me that he wouldn’t fix the other undisclosed damages because he wasn’t making enough profit on the car – that shows you the priorities. After they put a wheel on and swore it was driving great, I took it and it was still wobbling. At this point, I was so frustrated and had wasted so much time that I took it to my own mechanic and spent additional hundreds on other repairs to try fixing the “driveability”.

As you can see from other comments, the customer service is great as long as your car doesn’t have problems. They never returned my calls when they said they would, and did as little as possible to fix the problem. In the end, they were willing to give me a damaged, less valuable car in order to save their own profit – totally unacceptable for a business. I would not recommend buying a car here and am in process of filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau for their bad business practices. Shop at your own risk.
