I have used Jay's Automotive multiple times. The price was always excellent, the work performed throughly as requested and the mechanics honorable. I do not hesitate to recommend him to my friends. They never talk down to me as a lowly female, nor do they try to sell me things I do not need. They would mention things that should be kept on my radar as the car is 13 yr old. This is high praise from a mechanic's daughter who used to do her own car repair when younger. I get tired of mechanics who see a gray haired woman with an old car and think they can bamboozle me into replacing things that are not ready to be replaced. My original clutch is still fine after 305,000 miles; disreputable mechanics have been trying to replace it for the last 150,000 miles. Not Jay. He put in my last timing belt and recommended to NOT replace the water pump due to the age of the car. You will not be disappointed, go see Jay if you need car repair.

Jay is a great and experienced mechanic. The only time I was upset was when I moved to Connecticut and couldn't have Jay work on my car. I had to resort to some Connecticut mechanic or even worse a chain auto shop! If your looking for great service then go to Jay's. One of the things I wanted to mention, as I saved the best for last, your going to get honesty! How often do you get nervous or feel like the mechanic your talking to is trying to sell you something you don't need? I'm not a mechanic so I need to trust in what the person turning the wrench tells me. I never once doubted or second guessed Jay! Great and HONEST service that is consistent each time you go in!
