Northside Pediatrics

Awful! Their staff are rude and unprofessional. Twice that my son was very sick and I was told that I would have to take him to an urgent care. They didn't even asked me what was wrong with him or seem to care. To them it seems that getting out if work on time it is way more important their sick patients. They won't even let you speak with a nurse.

They are horrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know. Not ever. To me it doesn't make any going a pediatric clinic that won't see their patients when they are sick and instead suggests that they go to an urgent care or emergency room. Awful place. Also dirty.

I will never take my child back to that place! My son had an appointment at 930, I arrived 10 minutes early. They didn't get me into a room until 950. I waited in that room with a tired, hungry, sick child for over an hour and no body came to check on us or anything!! When I went to the first desk tell them I was leaving an switching doctors, they didn't say anything and let me walk out the door! NEVER again!!!

No more! I am disappointed in the way this practice has declined over the past five or so years. As the mother of a large family, I can say that it has it an all time low. Turnover for all levels of employees is high. The doctors have potential, but the front office/reception is their downfall. The staff constantly talk about the doctors, the patients, and other coworkers. It is not professional, ill-timed, and ill-mannered. Save yourself some aggregation and find a practice that truly cares for the well-being of your child. I know I will.

To the commentator below. Dr. B has since left the practice and with it, it seems like customer service went out the window. The phone is always busy, the girls at the front desk can be really rude at times, and half the time they won't take my son even if he's sick and we have to do a "walk in," they will tell me to go to the ER center up the road. Unfortunately this is where Tri-Care has placed us. So until I can figure something else out, my son will have to keep going here. However, the nurses are very nice though.

Terrible service. This place was started and is owned by Dr. Ashok Jain who is a proud Fayetteville State Alumni. I don't blame him but urge him to take a more hands on approach to his businesses and I am sure if he knew what was happening he would not be so thrilled. I as a senior level manager of a Fortune 100 company would never allow any entity of my business to be run with such a lack of empathy, compassion, personality, or professionalism. Our kids are important to us and this medical facility does not live up to our expectations...PICK ANOTHER PEDIATRICIAN

i just came across this review while looking up my children's old pediatrician. speaking as a mom, I totally disagree with the comments made above, they have taken care of my kids, all three of them eversince we moved to fayetteville, since we are a military family, we have relocated since. I only have good things to say about northside pediatrics and Dr.B (Dr. Benuseda if I am correct). she has taken care of all my kids, she is very knowledgable and only gives medications when really needed. My kids just loves her and my youngest daughter was especially was attached to her looking forward to going to the doctor, she actually gets quite upset when her brother and sister goes to see "her doctor". I have practiced as a nurse for many years and is currently a liscensed nurse practicioner at a dermatologist office and I know for a fact that steroids are not just given for allergic reactions. If anyone bothered to look up even online, anyone with a medical background knows they are used for many things including asthma, allergies, kidney problems, cancers,skin reactions including erythema multiforma, steven johnsons and severe atopic dermatitis-some skin conditions which can be caused by a multitude of things including viral infections, toxin exposure, etc.

I have just moved here and we were placed with this office through our insurance company. For the most part I really like it. The office is beautifully painted (its a bit of a work in progress in some areas), they have a special waiting room for sick kids and the staff is pretty friendly. We have choosen not to have our daughter vaccinated and was thankful that the doctor didn't give me the third degree like a lot of places do. The only down side I have to this place is its call service it uses over night for call in's. My daughter was having an allergic reaction to some medicine and it was dismised as a viral rash that was "normal" as it turns out I should have taken her to the emergency room. I saw Dr. B the following morning and she said it was a viral rash too but perscribed a steroid (and as a lot of you know that is really only used in kids for allergic reactions). My second opinion doctor said that she did not have a viral infection and that she should have been seen immeditaly. So, I have started seeing the new doctor that they have since she seemed to be the best informed and didn't have a problem calling the other doctors at her clinic on their wrong doings. I hope this helps ... either that or I have confused you even more.
