Mei-Chuan Wang. Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist as well as a Professional Counselor. She provides counseling to individuals, couples, and groups with a variety of clinical and developmental concerns. She provides Psychological testing and evaluations on an as-needed basis. She has special interest in stress and adjustment issues, diversity, identity and relationship concerns, women issues, grief and loss, and post-trauma recovery. She sees therapy as a journey and dynamic process shared by the therapist and the client. She embraces a strengths-based perspective involving a holistic assessment of clients within their cultural context. She is proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese. She holds a M.A. in applied clinical psychology from University of Northern Iowa (2003), and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Memphis (2007). Dr. Wang is also an assistant professor of psychology at Fayetteville State University.
