I took a paid tour through this historic (and creepy) bed and breakfast, which hasn't changed much at all since Lizzie Borden "took an ax and gave her mother 40 whacks" as the saying goes. It's an easy day trip from Boston, and the place gave me the chills. The docent was extremely thorough and informative. I can't imagine actually spending the night here, but it did inspire me to read some Lizzie Borden biographies, that's for sure!
