Very unhappy with service

I rate them average, because the staff is super nice and they really make sure you are comfortable. But beware of their billing practices. I pay to have insurance, so that normal dental costs are kept low. 1st time I went to them, they used the laser treatment to find a lot of cavities not noticed by my previous dentist. They have negotiated rates with my insurance, so I only have to pay 20% of the negotiated rate. Instead of performing the normal filling, they did an alternate procedure not approved by the insurance, which resulted in me paying the difference in cost on top of 20%. I was not informed or given a choice in this treatment. If I was, I would have gone with the treatment approved by my insurance to keep cost to the minimum, instead they performed the higher cost procedure and I found out when I received my insurance statement that it was not a normal filling procedure - in the end I paid over $300.00 more than I should have. If you use them, be sure first what your insurance will pay or not - don't trust them to inform you ahead of time.
