At Family Physicians of Old Town Fairfax, our mission is to provide modern medical care with old fashion caring. In this fast paced, impersonal society, we take great pride in providing one-on-one personalized medical care. We do not employ nurse practitioners or physician assistants, unlike many other primary care practices. Our patients are evaluated by their personal doctor—a qualified physician, not a nurse. As an independent practice, we take a personal interest in our patients and work as their advocates to ensure our patients receive the finest medical care available.
Family Practice
Kathleen Crane, MD is a board certified Family Physician with 14 years of experience who joined our practice in January, 2001. She received her medical degree State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1986 and finished her residency in Family Medicine as Chief Resident in 1989 at Southside Hospital in Bayside, New York. After serving as a Clinical Instructor at Stony Brook from 1989 to 1996, Dr. Crane-Lee moved to the Northern Virginia and practiced in Annandale, Virginia. We are pleased and fortunate to have Dr. Crane-Lee join our practice and further enhance the quality of care we can provide for our patients.

Suspected infected patients should self-isolate. If their symptoms of high fever, shortness of breath progress, they should call us for further advice of whether they should seek emergency room care. If their symptoms evolve rapidly, they should go straight to the emergency room.
