I first went to the Everett location two days ago in the afternoon, filled out the application and did the safety test. Yesterday morning, I was THE FIRST ONE in the door and to sign in, and proceded to wait until 2:30 before leaving, with No job. All others that were there were sent out., the youngest going first. This morning, I AGAIN was the FIRST one in the door and to sign in, followed by two young guys that filled their apps out and within an hour and a half, even without providing proper and complete id's, they were sent out. At that time, I voiced my opinion that there was age discrimination going on, to which Megan, the "Mgr.", said it was because they had a car. So do I. Another gentleman that was there also voiced the same opinion, and said that he and I could have gone together in his vehicle, and also felt there was age discrimination going on. A third "guy" said the same thing. Both of them are in their forties, I am 58. Needless to say none of us that said something went out today. I will probably pursue this with EEOC, as this was totally wrong. I never did go out for any job, because the manager was too busy trying to play God and had a bad attitude towards us after voicing the truth. I am a Viet Nam veteran and was protecting our country long BEFORE she was even born. I WILL NOT go to the Everett location again.
