Post Oak Place

I go in and I sit down with one of their staff, Shahala Conner, she assures me they have an apartment that will be available for me on the 13th of September. Not only that but the price was going to be $776! I thought that's a good price seeing as how the pool hall and gas station on the other side of the fence were kind of sketchy (At night and there always seems to be drunk people walking around the area even on weeknights). She tells me that if I want to make sure I get this apartment at this price to come in the 29th to put in my deposit on it to hold it at this price. Fast forward to today, after 3 days of calling early morning and at night I decide to go in to see if everything is still on for this apartment. I still had a bit of time to look and the way they weren't answering the phone or calling me back after I left detailed messages was starting to unnerve me. So I go in I see Shahala and I begin to talk with her, I brought all the paperwork that she gave me that shows the prices we talked about and the apartment that we wanted to go with. She says " Oh no, that apartment is no longer available, and that price has gone up since we last spoke"... Ok.... I begin to realize I had been conned but instead of just leaving right then and there I asked her what price was the new apartment going to be. She started looking at a random stack of papers and explaining that her system isn't working this morning so she won't know exactly what the prices are. After she gets done looking at a map of the apartment complex acting like it was some sort of guide for pricing she says " Oh the new price is $986"! So before I tore out of there I made sure to express my disappointment over the change in price, Shahala made it clear that she did not care in the slightest by rolling her eyes at me. As I walked away she told a woman that had walked in while we were talking "See what I have to deal with". This apartment complex is not in it to help you find a home
