STRATEGIC REIMBURSEMENT, INCORPORATED ( SRI ) is a financial and third party consulting firm specializing in ensuring compliance while maximizing reimbursement and cash flow for its healthcare clients across the country. Headquartered in in Elmhurst IL, the firm also maintains offices in Denver, Milwaukee, Nashville, Phoenix and St. Louis. SRI was founded in 1975 to assist hospitals in preparing their annual Medicare Cost Reports and with any subsequent audits and/or appeals. Over the years, the firm has grown in size and in the scope of services offered. SRI began consulting on DSH adjustments in 1990, managed care reimbursement in 1995 and MEdicare Bad Debt Logs in 2004. Recognizing the importance of a "team approach" in determining full and correct reimbursement, Strategic Reimbursement was founded under the concept of "working with, as well as for, " the provider. Its purpose is to allow the provider to retain, as part of its management team, a single source of expertise in the development of a strong financial third party program.
