Best Western

Nice staff, clean rooms and good price. What else could I ask for when I am only paying $78 including tax.

With the need to house 5 children it was a blessing to find a four bed suite at the Best Western that was value rated. The breakfast was amazing and it enjoyed by all. The hot waffles, scrambled eggs, and the sausage links were delicious.

Check-in was very fast and courteous. Once in my room I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness and decor. The king size bed was very spacious and comfortable. The room I stayed in had a balcony (which I loved) that faced the highway which could be loud at times but I found myself not noticing it especially if the patio door was closed.



Housekeeping staff was very nice and never once made me feel as if I was bothering them. If I ever needed anything it was addressed immediately and even followed up on afterwards.



Breakfast was very good, the freshness and the choices were always A+! My only complaint is not being allowed to take the food back to my room.



Overall I would definitely return to this location for the simple fact that all of my needs were met by the excellent effort put forward by the bestwestern staff.

Had a great stay and my room was very clean. They had a nice maid and the staff was very helpful .

Everything about my stay at Bestwestern was great. I was very impressed with the lobby upgrade which gave me high hopes for the room quality. I wasn't disappointed, the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom linen was fresh and clean as were the bed sheets.



Staff was very helpful at all times, I never walked past a staff member without being greeted with a smile. Housekeeping staff was fast and very friendly.



The heated pool was definitely a plus, my kids had a blast! Because our daily rates were consistent and didn't go up I plan on making this my go to location for future trips as I was given my money's worth plus some.

I stayed at the Best Western Continental Inn on Saturday, August 29th, afternoon, until Sunday August 30th, morning, the temps outside were over 100° outside, but the air conditioners cooled the room down to a very comfortable 68°. Everything else -- the pool, the jacuzzi, the breakfast in the morning, the attention of the staff, was exemplary.

I reserved less than 1 day in advance with the great price and was able to use my points. The room, 241, is clean and is not noisy. The bed is good with the generous pillows. There is great customer service in the lobby and dining room. My husband and I did enjoy the great breakfast with high quality of bagels, croissants, and cereals. There is water melon besides the basic fruits. All the food is refilled promptly.

It is a small motel; my room was very clean, I had enough towels and since it was a hot day I was able to enjoy the pool as well. Breakfast was a big plus for me. I did not see any "shady" activity as described by other people, but keep in mind that you are going to El Cajon! I will be staying at the hotel again next month. Great value!

service attitude of a 4 star hotel. the hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. the towels were not great but not thin either. it is right next to freeway so while my room was a building away and not noisy, i suspect the room in the building next to the fwy may be noisy.

I have stayed a t this hotel for the last few days and I love it! The clerks go out of their way to help you, and the maids leave my room spotless! Breakfast is basic, but OK, and internet is good (too bad they don't have wired internet). Managers are always smiling, and it's nice to see the owners working in the property as well, they do care! I recommend this hotel to everybody.

After check-out I realized I had forgotten my wedding ring by the sink, I started to panic because the ring has been in the family for a couple of generations already and it is already a big part of my life! I immediately called the hotel so they could save it for me and the receptionist was extremely helpful, and immediately got it! All employees were really nice. Thank you Maria!

This hotel was clean and affordable. Not too close to San Diego, but not too far either. We enjoyed the pool, breakfast and loved the fact that they only have non-smoking rooms. We were happy with the service, even though the maid did not speak English. We will be back.

Stayed here for 5 days while visiting family in the area. Was very pleased. Clean and well kept. Security of guests and the property seemed to be of high priority for the hotel staff. The breakfast was exceptional. Not knowing the area - we booked this hotel based on price, previous reviews, and the proximity to our family. Would definitely stay at this property again if/when we return to the area.

Rooms are clean an the housekeep an staff are very friendly. Seems a little confustion regarding the front desk staff is concerned on the way things are handled here. It is a toss up as to whether you get a quiet room or not as to who is next to you or above you! Can get real noisy an loud at times. Over all I would stay here again as they do allow pets an that is a definite plus in emergency type situations. The TV channels an company needs a BIG over HAUL!!! Very bad an few choices when I was just there. The Internet after finally getting a 'box' put in my room was improved quite a bit but still a toss up on whether I could get on quickly an stay on. Not sure who they have for that either.



One thing is that would be nice if there were MORE restaraunts in El Cajon area that did Delivery other than the usual cheap pizza places!!! El Cajon is Missing the boat for this an it hurts people that don't or can't drive an are stuck in a motel. Although I did find my favorite place does deliver at least they did my last visit so may check again the next time to see if they still do.
