Dr. Mackey was recommended to me by my PCP who I trusted greatly. He quickly diagnosed my sleep apnea which I've had since at least 1991 when a nurse friend pointed it out to me but that wasn't well known and there weren't home CPAP machines then. I've had CRPS Type II since 1994, trigeminal neuralgia since 2006, and fibromyalgia since 2011. He has been great in helping me with my chronic pain and his PAs are good also.

he has helped me with the many problems I am facing. he is caring listens and has helped me a lot. He's staff are great to, they treat you like family. Thank you Dr. Mackie.

I had to find a pain specialist in OKC in 2010. I found His practice on YP and called. After setting up the necessary referrals from my previous doctors they called me back and sent me an information packet. I had a prompt appointment and have been his patient ever since. First appointments are long, because you are given a thorough and complete evaluation.
He truly studied my history and made changes that have improved my pain. He is one of the most sincere and honest doctor I have worked with. He takes time at my appointments and listens. He also helped secure financial help for something my insurance would not cover completely.
His staff is top notch, and everything is clear and apointment times are usually prompt. I have not waited more than 20 minutes for the doctor. Dr. Mackey is also working on, if not already done with his Medical Boards in Sleep Medicine, which is something that ties in to pain management. He is totally committed to providing the BEST care possiible, period. He is friendly and I have complete trust in his care of me. He is what every doctor should strive to be. I have had experience with many doctors. In the Pain Management field, there's is not always the compassion and there are limited resources. Sometimes you have to have a doctor because that's the only choice. There are other doctors, but Dr. Mackey and his staff the kind of practice that you seek out and keep. I know this review is nothing but good, and I don't normally just write perfect reviews. I write what I know and see. And Dr. Mackey is one if not the best in the OKC area.
