The owner is a really good guy.

I had just finished a 2.5 year restoration on my 1960's muscle car, and the automatic transmission would not shift.

After an acquaintance suggested Edmond Discount Transmission, I trailered the car there...

The owner was super friendly, and helped me unload the car from the trailer -- he even put away all the straps and chains while I drove the car off the trailer! I didn't ask him to do that! What a super cool dude!

Within 24 hours, he had diagnosed the problem, fixed it, test drove the car, and returned it to me -- AT NO CHARGE!!!

I was flabbergasted! No charge?! From a transmission repair shop?! Are you kidding me?!

I insisted on paying him a little something for his time and expertise. I drove the car home that day -- in rush hour traffic and it worked great! What a deal!

I highly recommend this shop!

I would never recommend this place to anyone! I had a transmission rebuild done by him and then a year and 2 months later, I was back in again with the same problem! I was given a 12 month warranty with my first transmission rebuild, but since my transmission went out a year and 2 months later, he did not honor it. He charged me over half the price of what I paid a year ago for him to do the same work. I do not trust his work at all since transmissions should last longer than 1 year! He had my car for close to 2 weeks and would not answer the phone when I called him. He did not have a voicemail setup, so I had to resort to going to his shop to get an update on my car. He told me on a Friday that he would take my car for a drive on Monday to test it out and I should have it back by Monday evening or Tuesday morning. I went to his shop Tuesday to get my car, assuming it would be done, and he told me that he hadn’t looked at it since Friday!! I am disgusted with him and I do not trust his work. If you want your car done right the first time, take it somewhere other than here!
