All of the physicians of Dermatology Specialists are skin surgeons. Our practice offers the full spectrum of surgical services for the management of skin cancer or other skin conditions requiring surgery. Dermatologic surgery encompasses a wide variety of methods to remove or modify skin tissue for health (skin cancer) or cosmetic benefit (removal of birthmarks or moles). These methods include biopsy, excision, ED&C (electrodessication & curettage) and cryotherapy. In most cases, skin problems requiring surgery can be addressed in our office, in an outpatient setting, under local anesthesia, with minimal pain and low risk of complications.

At Dermatology Specialists, we pride ourselves on working collaboratively with other Twin Cities physicians to provide the best dermatologic care for our mutual patients. Many of our physicians are involved in education efforts for primary care physicians in the Twin Cities and nationwide.

Dermatology Specialists is recognized as one of the premier dermatology practices in the upper Midwest. We currently have 14 board-certified dermatologists who work together to provide professional, personable, and complete skin care for all ages. Our practice prides itself in state of the art treatment for medical and cosmetic skin care with two convenient locations in Edina and Eden Prairie. We provide Mohs surgery for skin cancer, Narrowband Ultraviolet B therapy for psoriasis and eczema, Excimer laser for vitiligo and psoriasis, Fraxel laser, pulsed-dye laser, Botox, and fillers as well as other cosmetic procedures performed by our highly experienced cosmetic providers. These procedures include Halo, BBL, laser hair removal, microneedling, chemical peels, and microdermabrasions. Our paramedical staff takes pride in their work as caring health professionals while keeping the patient’s best interest in mind.

Cosmetic Dermatology
Yes, we’re currently offering cosmetic consults through this platform. If you’d like a cosmetic dermatology consultation, please call our Edina location at 952-902-3808 to set up an appointment. They’re affordable at $50 out-of-pocket per visit. We will not bill your insurance for this type of appointment.
