Louis Pane and Ed Sabatino are lifelong New Haven County reasdents who take pride in serving their community. Louis Pane is a well known East Haven resident with almost two decades as Recreation Director for the town he loves. After a tremendous high school and college hockey career, he returned to East Haven High School as head coach of Yellow Jacket Hockey where he has appeared in numerous state tournaments and the title of State Champion! It's not just hockey for Louis, many families and atheletes across Connecticut still call him Coach! Louis lives in town with his wife and 3 children. Ed Sabatino's career has taken him to interesting places with interesting people. While playing drums in a band at the age of 16, he was invited to have the band's music played on the radio. One trip to the radio station and he was hooked! Ed instantly pursued a career in radio, for 26 years Sabatino was a radio personality, morning show co-host with Glenn Beck at KC101 and Program Director at WPLR in New Haven. Under Ed's leadership, the radio station received numerous accolades including #1 Rock Radio Station in the Nation based on Arbitron Ratings. He was nominated and won Program Director of the Year honors in 2009. Ed credits a great staff and strong community relationships as factors in his success. Like Louis Pane, Ed has coached baseball and basketball for nearly 20 years. Ed lives in East Haven with his wife and daughter.
