WTB and Associates Inc

It took me a while to get around to writing this review but I finally got around to it. I filed my 2010 taxes with WTB on the recommendadtion of a co worker. I had all the necessary paperwork and I assumed I was asked all of the necessary questions. I am a registered nurse. The owner of this business filed my taxes and I thought it was strange that I owed a certain amount of money when Ive always never had to pay. It wasnt until I filed my 2011 taxes this year that I found out that WTB did not include my home on my taxes. They charges me over $400 to prepare them by the way. I had to ammend my taxes that WTB filed which I had to pay extra money to do. The mistake WTB made cost me $4,000.00 dollars! At this time it has been corrected by another tax preparer. The mistake they made wasnt really the biggest problem I had with the whole thing. The problem was their customer service after I called and notifed them of the mistake. The owner stated he remembered me using their computer to print my year end mortgage statement and did not know how they missed this vital info. The fact that they charged me over $400.00 and I had to pay a return because they made a mistake and they didnt offer me one thing to say that they were remorseful or sorry about their very costly mistake is why I was upset. I am big on internet reviews so I wanted to let people know that this company has no remorse for $4,000 dollar mistakes. A 99 cent card stating an apology would have prevented this horrible review. I hope this company does not do this to anyone else!
