Happy Paws Pet Spa

No professionalism at this business, new owner is the rudest business person I have ever met! I have not brought my fur baby in since the spring of 2014 and wanted to get her groomed before the holidays. I made a mistake and made an appt at Happy Paws not realizing it was in anther town - thinking it was our local one. I went in for my appt and the owner was less than happy when I walked in the door. She told me I did not have an appt and she was not taking new clients. I explained what happened with the appt and that we were not new clients, this was the only groomer I have ever used in Durango with my dog who is now 12yrs old. She proceeded to tell me she had never seen my dog before, I told her it had been a couple years since we had been in, but again that this was the only groomer we have ever used. She treated me like I was lying and was so rude in the process. I am so appalled with how I was treated, how rude this business owner was, how she argued with me about the validity of whether or not my dog had been there before. She explained she destroyed all old records for clients, so I said well mine was probably one of the files that she destroyed. She said she did not recognize my dog. I am appalled with the lack of professionalism & the rude treatment, I have never had an experience like this one. Even if this woman decides to take new clients I would not give her my business or give her a good word to get future clients. Just a mean and rude business owner, not a friendly person, unprofessional and wow just thinking about the way she treats people - take your fur babies to someone who is nice and professional.
