Bubba's Shrimp Palace

Let me start by saying we were very excited to try this place out. My husband ordered fish tacos and I ordered the endless shrimp & fish for $20. We were greeted at the table with hush puppies and that was nice. My husband asked the waiter if he could have one fish and one shrimp taco and was told the kitchen was too busy to make a special order. Once our order was taken I went off to the salad bar. For such a large place the salad bar was so small and right in front of the kitchen and next to the bar. Needless to say it was packed. The spacing between tables are narrow and very hard to move about or even get back to your own chair if the table next to you is occupied, Once we received our food, both of use were not amused. The shrimp looked like it was fried in KFC original recipe batter and greasy as ever. I took a napkin to it ASAP! FYI: if you ask for more endless shrimp or fish, you have to flag down a girl walking around handing it out. Good luck finding her. The fish looked and tasted pretty good, But our side (fries, okra, sweet potatoes fries, and onion rings) were over cooked and looked as if they were sitting under a warmer waiting for the next order to be made. Overall we were not happy with our experience and will not be returning. I hope other have a better experience than we did.

The service is horrid and the food isn't worth the effort to even drive to

Food is excellent. Service is TERRIBLE! The older black guy who waited on us told us not to come on weekends cause the kitchen is backed up. He took our drink order 30 minutes after we were seated. We were just wanting to kick back on the back porch and relax but had to wait 35 minutes for a beer. After we finished the first beer, we just had to drink water cause it took another 20 minutes to bring another beer. By that time, we were done with this place. This was our 2nd time to visit with not so great service. We will not be back....
