DDR AIR CONDITION AND REFRIGERATION

I had a very positive experience with DDR. I have an older AC system (R22) and it went out in July. There was an $80 service call, but with the exception of that and the price of the Freon I needed they were able to get my system running great for $260. They gave everything a good looking over, checked it for leaks, and made some recommendations on how I could get better efficiency out of my unit. They were friendly and professional. Thank you.

Just had this gentleman come out to look at our system, wanted to replace it immediately without looking at it. Once here he tried to sell us a new system, changed parts and then charged us for them without asking (none of the parts fixed our system), charged us extra for the extra mileage, then charged us at a rate of 95 dollars per hour for the troubleshooting. I offered constructive criticism on letting the customer know before you change parts and make sure that they want that, especially since everyone knew that wasn't going to fix the system, and secondly to be upfront about hourly charges. I contacted another licensed contractor here and he verified they don't charge an hourly rate. very disappointed, and will NEVER recommend this con-man to anyone!!!
