        PCB Piezotronics was founded in 1967 to manufacture piezoelectric quartz sensors, accelerometers and associated electronics for the measurement of dynamic pressure, force and vibration. The company specialized in incorporating microelectronic signal conditioning circuitry within sensors to make them easier to use and environmentally compatible. Its measurement capabilities expanded with the addition of piezoceramic, tourmaline, capacitive, piezoresistive and strain gage sensing technologies. Additional products were added, including industrial accelerometers, DC accelerometers, load cells, torque sensors, microphones, pressure transmitters and calibration equipment. The company has headquarters in Depew, N.Y., and a worldwide network of field sales offices, which include direct sales offices, manufacturers representatives and international distributors.
