        ACUSTRIP Company, Inc was established in 1987 to provide easy to use, non-toxic dip n' read tests for ethylene and propylene glycol based antifreeze coolant for the professional automotive service provider or the DIY'er. As the operating temperatures of vehicles rose, and the mixed metal environments that the cooling system operated in evolved, the requirements on the cooling system changed. Consequently ACUSTRIP Company developed a simple to use, reliable two part test to measure the concentration on glycol and water, to determine the freeze and boil over protection, and a measure of corrosiveness, pH. ACUSTRIP provided the first three-way test to the Heavy Duty Marketplace with our 3001 Nitrite, concentration, and pH test. Truck maintenance providers, always cost and performance conscious, quickly saw the benefits of using the ACUSTRIP tests. For literally pennies per test the fleet maintenance provider is assured of minimizing lost time and repairs due to cooling system related breakdowns. Today ACUSTRIP provides test strips for the Heavy duty and Light duty truck markets as well as for marine, RV, and automotive markets.
