Let me start by saying this is the first bad review my husband and I have ever written about any company. This is not usually the norm and we are understanding and tolerant when it comes to lower standards of service. However this could not be ignored today. Let me start from the beginning. We have used Still Waters in the past when it was located on Mckinney Dr. Denton, TX and were satisfied with the service, however we were never particularly thrilled with the customer service at the checkout desk. This past December my husband purchased another gift certificate for a two hour massage as he has done twice in the past. The appointment was made for 12:45pm and unfortunately the church meeting we were in ran a little longer than expected. I called Still Waters at 12:50pm and spoke with Deleena to reschedule the appointment. Deleena told me she could or would not reschedule and strong armed me to to be there by 1:00pm or the gift coupon would now be null and voided "her words" ($150 worth for two hours). I drove as quickly as possible trying to find the new place they relocated to on University Dr. (there are no visible signs from the road and it sits behind another office with a tiny sign) and after 15 min. I had finally found it. When I walked in I was ungraciously greeted by Opal and Deleena (all the lights were out, purses on their arms , like they were closing down for the day) and they seemed to be very defensive and waiting for a fight. When my husband and I started apologizing that we were so late and could not find the place, Deleena stated that they would need to deduct one hour from the gift coupon since they could have booked another customer ( we were fine with that and understood) then Opal with her hand on her hips, said, No, I've been waiting here for 45 minutes and we are not validating your coupon, returning money or rescheduling one hour, two hours nothing because she has two kids to go feed. My husband who is very reasonable and accomadating asked if she would just work with us at all, as we did not want to lose the entire $150 and that we had used them twice in the past. Deleena (no joke) jerked my coupon out of my hand and said, " Look read at the bottom". Yes, they may or may not have had anyone else scheduled (place was empty) but that was no way to talk to anyone and their actions were nothing like a business with integrity; we have ever dealt with a business like this before. I got my coupon back out of Deleena's hands and Opal was yelling threatening us to leave, and they literally followed us to the parking lot while yelling slurs after telling them this was no way to run a business, not to even work with customers you have had in the past. This is more about their attitudes than the money (which we lost) and feeling like we had been loyal satisfied customers in the past. This was the most horrible, ridiculous, most unprofessional experience ever. We dont know if this is a different owner since two years ago or what, but the only reason this post is being submitted is because we would never want another person to go through this again. By the way, there are plenty of places in town with better prices and better service such as the Asian massage therapist's at the Golden Triangle Mall. In our humble opinions, we believe since they had already received their money in December, that they did not want to honor the massage gift coupon. Buyer Beware.
