Florida Credit Union

I'm not grading this one specifically, but overall, the "Florida Credit Union" are Horrible institutions. A colleague warned me after I opened an account at the Ocala Florida Credit Union and he was 100% Accurate. The in-person FCU Rep told me if I wrote a check and it had to come out of my Savings, no penalties. I later opened Line of Credit and I would pay with a check (because I knew there was no penalty if it had to come out of Savings). Boy, was she wrong and I was uninformed. Because I live a very busy life I'm not always on top of matters so what ended up occurring is each check just compounded my Line of Credit and one day they sent me a notice I had no more Line of Credit. I called only to discover the Rep was wrong, wouldn't admit she was wrong so in essence, I had made no payments towards my Line of Credit and had accumulated Many fees, and penalties although my Savings had thousands of dollars that could have been used. Needless to say, I closed my account. Marion County Credit Union is a good credit union. They are not similar in any way as far as professional standards.
